Arica Marx

Arica Marx is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She has a diverse background including a broad range of experience in the healing arts, and expertise in acupuncture and Asian medicine. Arica received her Masters of Science from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago.

 

During the course of her studies, she spent three years as an intern at the MCOM clinic in downtown Evanston, IL. In 2019, Arica also completed an advanced internship program at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in the pain department. She has a primary focus in mental health, women’s health, autoimmune dysfunction and overall wellness. Along with acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine she is also well versed in auricular acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion.

 

Additionally, Arica is a certified meditation instructor. She has specialized training with the Wahls Protocol, a nutritional protocol designed for Multiple Sclerosis and other autoimmune disorders. Arica provides individual treatments with the goal of facilitating the body's own ability to achieve health and wellness.
