Jamie Greenhut
(she/they)
Licensed Acupuncturist
Master's of Traditional Oriental Medicine
Hailing from the Sunshine State, Jamie imbues warmth into every aspect of her practice as an acupuncturist.
Earning her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, OR, Jamie spent four years and thousands of hours studying, practicing, and honing her craft as an acupuncturist, moxibustionist, and herbalist. Internships in Old Town Chinatown and the Pain Management Clinic at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital provided her with ample experience in treating a wide variety of conditions including, but not limited to: general pain management, seasonal allergies, digestive issues, chronic anxiety, migraines, reproductive health complaints, and insomnia.
As a patient, Jamie is needle sensitive. For her, traditional acupuncture techniques often result in physical discomfort or emotional upset. Motivated by her personal experiences, her approach as an acupuncturist is highly adaptable, gentle, and intuitive. Utilizing her eclectic skill set including modalities like Japanese teishin (tool-assisted acupressure), direct moxibustion, Tui Na massage, contact needling (non-insertive acupuncture) and more, Jamie ensures each individual is heard and cared for according to their needs and preferences.

Having passed all national board exams, including Chinese herbology, Jamie is an NCCAOM certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and member of the Illinois Society of Acupuncturists.
